Uiteraard werd daarop richting je werkgever gereageerd met de mededeling dat het gesprek moet worden aangegaan om eruit te komen en als tip werd meegegeven dat het niet de bedoeling is om de resultaten van informeel overleg te delen met anderen. Daarna werd het stil aan de overkant en betekent dat de hele kwestie muurvast lijkt te zitten.
Hieronder delen wij het bericht met jullie dat wij vandaag hebben verstuurd aan de CEO van GKN Aerospace.
Dear Mr. Paja,
In response to the message from Mr. John Pritchard to the chairman of the Dutch trade union FNV Mr. Tuur Elsinga (5 May 2023), we would like to inform you about the point of view on behalf of the FNV and CNV Dutch trade unions regarding the consultations between Fokker Technologies/GKN Aerospace, FNV and CNV.
Our members involved in the reorganizations of Fokker Technologies in the Netherlands have no objection to these reorganizations as such, but they do object to the different conditions for employees after they have moved to another location because of that reorganization. That is why hundreds of workers have already gone on strike for 8 days.
As trade unions, we really only have one demand, namely equal employment conditions for all employees after reorganization (relocation) in accordance with the agreement that was made at the initiative of Fokker Technologies with the works council of the Helmond location. This deal actually has been made on the initiative of the management áfter a (much cheaper) deal had already been made with us. We have been made aware of these (much better) arrangements for employees through our members, which, as we all know, all of our members now demand as well.
We are now dealing with a management of GKN Aerospace/Fokker Technologies that increasingly only looks at this issue from an employer's perspective and shows little sense of reality in recognizing that there is a problem from an employee's perspective that also needs to be solved constructively. As trade unions, we are therefore unfortunately forced to prepare strikes again.
We are happy to give you a face-to-face explanation of the cause and effect of the situation that has arisen if you would like to have more context.

Betekent dat wij op deze manier nog eens om aandacht vragen door ook bij andere mensen in de organisatie aan te kloppen die mede verantwoordelijk zijn voor de besluitvorming over de vraag hoe verder en wat dat mag kosten.
Intussen zijn wij ons dus opnieuw aan het voorbereiden op acties.
